Kevin Carlson was born and raised on the Wasatch Front, so as a Utah Valley native, he has lived in this beautiful state his entire life. He loves the outdoors and considers it to be his home. Kevin received the Volunteer of the Year Award for Uinta National Forest from the Back Country Horsemen of Utah.

Humble and friendly, Kevin is an approachable and patient teacher. It does not matter whether you are a beginner, Kevin passes no judgments about your knowledge or abilities. Kevin caters his teaching to accommodate families, groups or individuals. In fact, over the years, he has made many great memories by sharing his knowledge and experiences with his wife, children, extended family and friends.

Kevin provides easy-to-understand, hands-on instruction, so each student can “learn by doing.” He subscribes to the time-tested, “Teach a person to fish …” philosophy. Kevin loves to share his knowledge of what Utah has to offer families and outdoors enthusiasts in terms of adventure and natural beauty. He provides expert instruction on fishing, camping, hiking, hunting, horsemanship and outfitting.
